Ey up. I’m David.Hello, I’m David.Cashflow advisor and accountant for businesses across Yorkshire

Proud Yorkshireman, accountant for ten year, and founder of Yorkshire Cashflows. I've built more cashflow forecasts than I've had hot dinners, and it taught me two things: a spreadsheet on its own doesn't cut it, and off-t'-shelf software's about as much use as rubbing a crystal ball.A proud Yorkshireman, an accountant of ten years and the founder of Yorkshire Cashflows. I've built more cashflow forecasts than I've had hot dinners, and it taught me two things: a spreadsheet on its own doesn't cut it, and off-the-shelf software is a bit like rubbing a crystal ball.

So I set up Yorkshire Cashflows around two simple ideas: a business advisor should talk like a normal human being, and a forecast should be designed around t'person reading it. Cashflow comes first, because that's what keeps t'lights on.So I set up Yorkshire Cashflows around two simple ideas: a business advisor should talk in plain language, and a forecast should be designed around the person reading it. Cashflow comes first, because that's what keeps the lights on.

We talk it through, agree actions, then go again. We discuss the findings, agree actions and continue the cycle.

For t'most useful forecast, it helps if bank reconciliations, debtors, creditors, invoices, payroll and VAT are reasonably up to date. If they're not, don't fret. I'll work wi' what's there and can help get things straight. To produce the most useful forecast, I normally ask clients to keep bank reconciliations, debtors, creditors, invoices, payroll and tax/VAT information reasonably up to date. If things aren't quite there yet, that's okay. I'll work with what is available and can help with additional preparation.
